Home Watch Services

If you choose to join our Home Watch program, we will provide you with our 30 point Home Watch checklist via email once the visit is complete. If any items require attention or repair, it will be noted and pictures provided if needed. If you choose to have us do any repairs, we will provide an estimate for your approval.
 

Home Watch visits can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly (every other week)or monthly.

Exterior

1. Bring in any mail or packages (shipping available for additional fee)
2. Visual inspection of gates/locks  
3. Walk around the home to check that doors are secure
4. Ensure windows are secure
5. Check condition of a/c condenser
6. Check that hose bibs are off and not leaking  
7. Ensure garage is closed and secure  
8. Ground check of roof
9. Ground check of chimney
10. Visually check for any loose gutters, and downspouts
11. Check exterior for signs of insects, rodents or pests  

Interior

1. Ensure alarm system has power, if so equipped  
2. Ensure all door and locks are secure
3. Ensure all window latches are secure
4. Check all faucets to ensure there are no leaks
5. Check shut-off valves for leaks
6. Run sinks to check for leaks
7. Run tubs and showers to check for leaks
8. Flush and brush toilets
9. Run garbage disposal 
10. Check water heater for leaks
11. Visual inspection of ceilings/walls for active leaks, mold or mildew
12. Check interior for signs of insects, rodents or pests
13. Check thermostat for correct temperature setting  
14. Check humidistat for proper setting
15. Turn down a/c temperature to check cooling 
16. Check a/c condensate line for blockage
17. Check refrigerator/freezer for operation/temperature
18. Check breaker box for any tripped breakers  
19. Check to see that smoke detectors are working
20. Water plants if needed
